Paul has been encouraging spiritual and psychological growth in others throughout his life. He has given formal spiritual direction since 2003 to pastors, students, and laypeople.

Paul included studies in spiritual direction in his doctoral work in Christian education and spiritual formation and completed the Spiritual Guidance Certificate at Shalem Institute in Washington, DC. He is ordained to Word and Service in The Evangelical Covenant Church. He has studied analytical member of a number of spiritual direction associations.

Paul helped establish and taught in the

• C. John Weborg Centre for Spiritual Direction at North Park Theological Seminary, Chicago.
• Emmaus School of Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction at Emmaus Formation Centre, Mississauga, Ontario,
• The Doctor of Ministry program at Tyndale Seminary, Toronto, including the Spiritual Formation track 

50-60 minute session: $90. Reduced fee for those in full-time Christian ministry or with financial hardship.

Paul is available to meet via video conference or phone, or in person in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
